Honorable Kurt E. Hitzemann

The Honorable Kurt Hitzemann is a county judge of the Hernando County Court of Florida. He began serving in 2005 and was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning a six-year term that expires on January 4, 2021. Hitzemann earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse in 1985 and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1994. Hitzemann is currently a county judge for the Hernando County Court, Florida. Prior to joining the court, he was an assistant county attorney in Hernando County, Florida.

Robert graduated from Michigan State University in 1969 with a degree in Business and Marketing, received his real estate license in 1973 and has practiced real estate sales, investing and property management ever since.

Robert started Crown Management Corporation in 1980 to manage properties for others and grew the business from a few doors to acquiring over a dozen other management companies until he sold Crown Management in 2015 to a fortune 500 company.

Robert has served the NARPM members in Atlanta for many years and earned Residential Management Professional designation in 1998, his Master Property Manager (MPM) designation in 1999, and Crown received the Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC) designation in 2000.

Robert is a frequent speaker at local, national and international real estate events. Crown Investor Institute is an accredited school with the Georgia Real Estate Commission and their courses focus on issues of leasing, property management and real estate investing.

Jerron Kelley practices in the areas of real estate litigation and transactional work. Brad Larsen

Brad is the founder of Larsen Properties in San Antonio, TX currently managing over 600 Single Family Homes while achieving that growth in less than 5 years. Prior to starting a property management company, Brad served in the armed forces as an Army Infantry Officer leaving the military as a Captain in 2002 to pursue his interests in Real Estate. In 2003, Brad moved to San Antonio and earned his Real Estate license and began his career in sales. Brad started Larsen Properties in 2011. Brad’s company has experienced enormous growth turning it into one of the most profitable companies in the region.

Ali Ajami

Ali has been with ICPA since 2015 and manages bookkeeping accounts along with domestic tax return preparation. He also has an expertise in international taxation, where he assists nonresident U.S. investors and domestic property management firms with their tax reporting and IRS compliance matters. Ali lives in Dearborn, Michigan with his wife Anissa and daughter Gabrielle.

James Barrett

James Barrett is co-founder and CEO of Tenant Turner - a software company that finds, pre-screens, and schedules quality tenants so you can focus on growing your business! James has been in the software world since the beginning of his career and has played every role from Web Developer to Product Manager. He became an accidental landlord in 2009 and later acquired a second rental property in 2013. Though he’s always enjoyed interacting with tenants, he despised the inefficiencies of turning the properties. So he joined forces with his two best friends and fellow landlords to solve the problems they encountered managing their own residential rental properties.

Tim McGrath

Tim has worked for the Department of Business and Professional Regulation since 2007. He began as an investigator in the Division of Regulation’s Tampa Office and now serves as Field Office Manager for Central Florida, overseeing day to day operations of the Orlando, Tampa, and Ft. Myers Field Offices.

The Division of Regulation is responsible for investigating complaints from the public, and other agencies in numerous regulated professions. These professions include contractors, community association managers, veterinarians and talent agencies, to list a few. The Division’s inspection program covers the state’s veterinary establishments, cosmetology salons, and barbershops.

One part of the Division’s mission is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public by identifying and eliminating unlicensed activity and by preventing unsuspecting consumers from falling prey to unlicensed and unscrupulous individuals. The department works hard to carry out proactive outreach and enforcement operations throughout the entire state.

Tim brings 16 years of Law Enforcement experience to the Department and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Phil was born and raised just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, home of the Tennessee Volunteers. He attended Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy.

Phil has 12 years’ experience in project management and executive leadership. He is the Chief Operating Officer for OnSight PROS, a third-party property reporting company based out of San Antonio, TX.

As COO of OnSight PROS, Phil’s primary professional mission has been to help Property Managers improve the quality and effectiveness of their property reports. He has spent time in 15 metropolitan markets across the country collaborating with Property Managers to that end.
